Yakov Goldberg (L33t H@X0R) is a professional network security and digital forensics expert. Currently Yakov is employed by mid-size a financial institution as a network support manager of an Information Technology (IT) Department. Yakov works on a variety of security and network administration project alike and also manages the helpdesk team at the IT department. In addition, Yakov also works as an Information System Security (ISS) instructor at ITT Technical Institute at his part time. While teaching, Yakov assures that his student become proficient with a variety of network and security platforms.

Yakov started his career in the network administration and cyber security in the early 2000’s and since then Yakov has gained a vast knowledge and experience with a variety of security and network devices, platforms and Operating Systems (OS). In addition, over the years Yaakov has gained a vast knowledge and understanding of programming languages such as Python, Perl, C Powershell and VBScript. Yakov has also become experienced in a variety of Linux digital forensics and penetration testing operating systems. Likewise, Yakov has become experienced with a variety of Cisco devices, VMware, and other network security platforms.

Over the years Yakov combined his professional security and networking skills to perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessment and coaching individuals and companies alike to reduce the likelihood of becoming victimized by a variety of cyber attacks and threats. Currently, Yakov is working on automating some of his hacking techniques so anyone who has low confidence in themselves or having almost no prior knowledge in the cyber security and hacking fields will be able to enjoy and use Yakov automated application completely for FREE. Evan Peña graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with his Bachelor of Business Administration in Infrastructure Assurance and Information Systems. While pursuing his undergraduate degree he was heavily involved in extracurricular activities in an association called “The Computer Security Association” (CSA). Through this association, he and his team were able to compete in many competitions such as the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC), MITRE Capture the Flag (CTF) competition, and other CTF’s that companies sponsored for colleges around the nation.

Evan is a former Marine Corps Information Assurance Red Team (MCIART) member where he was responsible for conducting network and web-based application penetration tests, physical security assessments, logical security audits, and hands-on technical security evaluations. These evaluations were all conducted on the live enterprise production networks of all Marine Corp bases around the world. In addition, he was responsible for developing courses to teaching the Marines web-based application penetration tests and wireless security assessments.

He now works at Mandiant Corporation as a consultant doing incident response, forensics, and penetration testing. Working at Mandiant gives him a real view into what the advanced attackers are really doing. This allows Evan to enhance his skills as an ethical hacker and create additional modules for tools such as UberHarvest. In addition, Evan participates in penetration testing engagements of large government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. These networks consist of an online presence of hundreds of thousands of address space around the world.

Evan is happy to be a part of the Ubersec team and loves to continue developing his knowledge. Evan’s extensive experience in penetration testing will allow him to develop tools to assist him and others around the world.
